So many things are happening outside, that it's hard to focus in on one thing at a time to show you.
Yesterday's walk at Churchill Woods brought forth this treasure. It's called a Buttonbush. It is found along streams, and riverbanks, where the roots of this plant help prevent erosion. It's also a wonderful nectar plant for many insects, and hummingbirds. Plus, it's just really cool looking!
