So too, we need to start rethinking about what we find beautiful outside in our yards. When I drive by a well manicured, weed-less yard, I have begun to think of it as a photo-shopped woman in a magazine ad. Not real. You can't really get a yard like that without stripping away something life giving, or adding dangerous chemicals.
Let's stop thinking about a prairie field as weeds, and start thinking about it as a beautiful home filled with marvelous diversity.
